Ubi Franklin, a talent manager, has talked on the music industry’s recent dramatic changes.
In an Instagram post, accompanied by photos and videos with Davido, he emphasised the industry’s crossroads and how to navigate and benefit as a newbie.
Franklin pointed out that the music industry has been significantly impacted by the development of the internet, making conventional methods obsolete.
“We are at a crossroads in the music business: with the rise of the internet, the world we live in has changed, and the past is not coming back.
“But I see the glass as half-full: the internet and social networking are new avenues for the next Davido, Iyanya, Burnaboy, Wizkid, Asake, rema, Ayra Star Tems Etc to be born on,” he wrote.
