The Most Influential Person On AIB This Week Is Sunmisola Agbebi Okeleye

Sunmisola Agbebi is a Nigerian gospel artist from Ekiti State, born on May 2nd, 1998, to Mr. and Mrs. Kayode Agbebi in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria.

Her educational journey began at Premier School, followed by Tulip School, where she completed her elementary education. She continued to Sagab College for her secondary schooling and is currently pursuing higher education at an undisclosed university.

Sunmisola’s passion for music ignited at the young age of 4, and her dedication has propelled her to success in the Nigerian gospel music industry. Known for her vibrant voice and unique musical style, she has made a name for herself within the Nigerian gospel music industry.

In November 2020, she released her debut single, “Amazing,” published on YouTube by EmPawa Africa. She gained widespread recognition in February 2022 with the hit single “Koseunti,” produced by Efe Mac Roc. In October 2022, she hosted a live recording concert titled “AIIIH” (As It Is In Heaven) at the Charis Event Center in Lagos, where she released a modified version of “My Daddy My Daddy,” featuring the original artist Lawrence Oyor.

Her talent has also led her to international performances, including singing “The Garden of Our Heart” at the Dubai Expo in November 2022 alongside A R Rahman and the Firdaus Orchestra. She also performed with Joe Mettle at a Christmas concert in December 2022, and in April 2023, she featured on Folabi Nuel’s track “He’s Alive.”

Minister Sunmisola is more than just a gospel singer; she is a devoted minister who delivers each word and note with intention, ensuring that the meaning resonates deeply with her audience. Her purposeful approach profoundly impacts the lives of those who listen to her music

Sunmisola and fellow gospel singer Yinka Okeleye held their marriage introduction on March 5, 2023, at her family home in Lagos State, Nigeria. They later tied the knot on June 3, 2023.
