Roma Re-appoint Claudio Ranieri For Third Time As Coach

Roma, an Italian football club, has re-appointed Claudio Ranieri as head coach for the third time.

Roma stated that Ranieri will “have input” in selecting the team’s next head coach and move into a “senior executive role” at the end of the 2024–25 season, in addition to confirming the position on Thursday.

A club statement said: “At the conclusion of the season, Claudio will transition into a senior executive role, where he will be an adviser to the ownership on all sporting matters at the club. The search for a future coach will proceed over the next months.”

The 73-year-old, who had previously managed Chelsea, memorably won the Premier League title with Leicester in 2015–16, the first in the club’s history.

After managing the Italian team for ten years, he returned to the team in 2019 for a brief stint as manager of Roma.

Now that the team has only won three games in their Serie A campaign, the former Premier League winner will try to turn things around.

Having joined the team in September when Daniele De Rossi, who had been hired in January to succeed Jose Mourinho, left, former manager Ivan Juric was fired after just 12 games in command of the team.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
