La Liga: Barcelona Suffers Fresh Injury Blow

Barcelona has revealed that its great player, Lamine Yamal, is injured. The club released the statement on Monday.

The injury was incurred by the Spain winger during Sunday’s 1-0 La Liga loss to CD Leganés for Barcelona. During the match against Leganés at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, the 17-year-old was struck in the ankle.

Yamal played until the 75th minute, at which point Gavi took his place. Yamal, however, has a grade 1 injury to the anterior tibiofibular ligament, according to tests conducted on Monday morning.

For Hansi Flick’s team, Yamal is now anticipated to miss three to four weeks of action.
