Actor Yul Edochie Explains Why You Should Never Say That There Is No Power In The Name Of Jesus

The well-known Nigerian actor Yul Edochie recently posted a spiritual message on his Instagram page explaining the meaning of the name Jesus.

He emphasized that saying there is no power in the name is a dangerous statement that will lead to Nigerians’ destruction.

Given that some aspects of Christianity have been modified to better suit man rather than God, Edochie conceded that there may be weaknesses in the faith.

Yul however, emphasize the significance of acknowledging the authority of Jesus’ name, citing past events to show that those who have rejected it have not fared well.

“There is power in the name of Jesus.

Never you say there’s no power in the name.

“You can fault the white man’s religion.

Yes, some parts of it have been altered to suit men and not God. But never you say there’s no power in the name JESUS.

“It always marks the beginning of downfall. Read history, people who have said such in the past never ended well”,
 he wrote.

The name of Jesus is the most powerful name in all of heaven and earth. Throughout the Scriptures and history, we see the name of Jesus casting out demons, healing the sick, raising the dead, bringing about peace, and instilling heroic courage.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
