Actress Iyabo Ojo Praises Kudi Alagbo For Helping Raise Priscilla

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has expressed gratitude to her colleague Kudirat Ogunro, also known as Kudi Alagbo, for helping to raise Priscilla Ojo at her daughter’s last wedding in Tanzania.

After more than five ceremonies throughout Tanzania and Nigeria, the last celebration of Tanzanian singer Juma Jux and Priscilla’s lavish wedding, dubbed “African Royal Wedding,” is still going on in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

While getting ready for the finale on Wednesday, the actress recalled how important Kudi was to her early parenting, particularly as she balanced her budding acting career.

In Yoruba, the actress said, “This is part of the people that raised Priscilla, this is Mummy Priscilla.

“Thank you, so much. For those times, I hunt for jobs, when I go to locations.

“You will stay at home to stand in gap for me.

“You will feed and care for her and Festus.
“You do give them all the necessary training, including beating them once in a while.” They both giggled.

“This is the real Mama Priscilla, she was the one that taught Priscilla how to cook.

“She was the one that bathed her, fed her, and took her to school.

“Thank you, so much,” she added.

“We are going to celebrate Dami (Kudi’s child) like this by God’s grace. Do you still want to get married?” Iyabo asked. The actress replied, “Yes,” prompting Iyabo to extend her well-wishes for her future union as well.

In response, Kudi confirmed her intention to marry someday.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
