Amber Heard Secretly Welcomes Baby Girl Five Years After Split From Actor Johnny Depp

Surprise! Amber Heard has welcomed her first child after being told that she would never be able to carry her own child.

The 35-year-old actress revealed that she had her baby via surrogate. With nothing to hide, Amber took to Instagram to share a picture of her nursing her daughter with a long caption expressing her desire to have a baby under her circumstances.

She captioned the picture to her 3.9 million followers: ‘I’m so excited to share this news with you. Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a baby. I wanted to do it on my own terms.

She also revealed that she has named the child Onagh Paige Heard as the baby was born on April 8, 2021.

The name Onagh (also spelled Una and Ona) is a girl name of Irish origin which means ‘lamb’.

According to Page six, Onagh’s middle; ‘Paige’ appears to be a tribute to Amber’s late mother, Paige Heard, who died in May 2020. Amber shared her heartache over the death of her mother in an Instagram post at the time.

The birth of baby Onagh comes five years after the 58-year-old filed a divorce from actor Johnny Depp, as the two have been embroiled in a bitter court battle recently.

She continued in the caption detailing her personal life: ‘Part of me wants to maintain that my personal life is of no use to anyone. I also feel that the nature of my work forces me to control it.’

Amber emphasized the importance of women being able to be parents, regardless of marital status.

She wrote: ‘I now appreciate how revolutionary it is for us to think this way about one of the most fundamental parts of our destiny as women.

‘I hope we get to a point where the crib doesn’t need a ring to hold.’

She ended the post by saying: ‘That’s the beginning of the rest of my life.’
