The arrival of your newborn baby is a moment of pure love and joy for the whole family. It is the special bond between husband and wife no matter the circumstances they find themselves in and don’t be surprise that it changes situations completely.  Erica Mena is now a mother of three after welcoming her latest addition to the family with Safaree Samuels. This is their second child together which came amid their divorce!

As you may know, the new mom filed the paperwork to end her marriage with Safaree earlier this year, but now they have a newborn together!

Furthermore, the man was the one to share the big news of their baby boy’s birth on his platform first!

The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star posted a pic of him holding the baby in his arms on his IG account and gazed at him with a lot of love and affection.

In the caption, the proud father wrote: ‘MR Straittt jr is here!!’

And that was not the only post! Safaree also shared a second snap on his IG Stories, which shows his new son’s tiny hand gripping onto his finger.

Alongside it, he wrote: ‘Another me… that’s all the world needed.’

Erica Mena filed for divorce from him back in May.

In the documents, she stated that they had already been living in a ‘bona fide state of separation’ and insisted that their marriage was ‘irretrievably broken’ and there was ‘no hope of reconciliation.’

As far as their 17 month old daughter, Safire Majesty Samuels, is concerned, she requested primary physical and joint legal custody of her and sought child support as well as ‘permanent exclusive use’ of the house they used to share as a family.

Safaree was quick to clap back with a filing of his own in which he requested joint custody of the baby girl.

When it comes to this second pregnancy with him, Erica said that Safaree ‘failed to be involved in her care or visit her at the hospital during her most recent stay, where she remained overnight for many days related to her pregnancy.’

She also argued that his request for joint custody was purely for publicity and in order to paint Erica as ‘the instigator.’

Trust me when I say that it is never easy when a marriage ends but I strongly believe that the new born baby will make things turn around for good for the couples.
