I have often heard people say “let’s be realistic.” I honestly do not have any problem with that, but if being realistic means to them being pessimistic, then that in itself is poison. No matter how terrible things are, God wants us to always see things from the bright side.

Evil is always pregnant with good but only men and women with a positive attitude know how to take the delivery. Paul wasn’t playing with words or joking when he said that all things work together for good. Yes, they do, but to those who love the LORD and who can see the love of God reaching out to them even in the very worst of situations. It may take a while, but like Joseph, we would eventually find out that whatever evil men think about us, God always turns them around for our good.

As you step into this week, arm yourself with an attitude that constantly expects the very best even from the seemingly worst of experiences. Good morning and have a blessed week ahead.
