Bride Slips Into Swimming Pool And Drowns Just After Her Wedding

A newlywed bride died at her wedding reception this weekend, barely hours after marrying her fiancé.

On Sunday afternoon in Limeira, São Paulo, Elisangela Gazano, 38, lost her balance and fell into a swimming pool while hosting a party at a rented residence.

She was also celebrating her daughter’s birthday on the same day. According to local sources, the woman was dancing by the water’s edge when she tripped and fell into the water, panicking immediately.

Guests at the party attempted to rescue her and phoned emergency services, but Gazano went into cardiac arrest while being transported to the hospital and was certified dead upon arrival.

Hours before the event, Elisangela shared a photo on social media of herself signing paperwork in a white bridal gown after marrying her partner.

In a goodbye message on social media, Friend Flavia Silva said: “I met you over the last few days in the market and you were so happy that you were going to get married.

“Look how fate is a dream being fulfilled and on the same day without knowing that there would be a goodbye that there would be your departure.

“Wherever you are I want you to know that it was a pleasure to meet you.

“Your joy was contagious, your laughter was the best and when you put it together with mine, everyone stopped to look at you.

“May God comfort the hearts of your family and your husband. My condolences to everyone. You will be missed.”

Elisangela’s funeral took had held this afternoon.

Limeira police ruled her death accidental.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
