Nigerian famous hair stylist Chioma Ikokwu, also known as Chioma Good Hair, has warned a fan against being pressured to get married.
Chioma warned a fan on Snapchat not to rush her into marriage, pointing out that even though she was in her 30s, she still had time.
“I know you mean well, but I don’t like messages like this, Rama. Don’t put pressure on me, please. It’s too late, lol. With all the technology in the world, stop it!
Plus, I’m in my 30s, I’ve got time!
We are not in 1885 anymore
And I promise you that I’m not married right now. It’s not by circumstance. It’s by choice. I’m not going to settle because everyone’s walking down the aisle, and some are getting divorced six months later. Please, God’s timing is everything. I’ll do it right.

Respecting others’ personal choices and circumstances is important, especially regarding such a significant decision as marriage.
Everyone has their own journey and timing, and pressuring someone can cause unnecessary stress or strain. It’s best to offer support and understanding rather than pressure.
