Chris Cuomo Officially Fired By CNN For Helping His Brother In Sexual Harassment Scandal

One of CNN’s most popular news anchors; Chris Cuomo has finally been kicked out by CNN. The network cut ties with the anchor after it’s uncovered he used his connections to help his brother; New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, when the politician was accused of sexually harassing nearly a dozen women earlier this year.

Chris Cuomo was said to have used his influence in the media world to help his gubernatorial brother push back against the accusations.

Chris was officially ditched by his TV employer, a few days after he was suspended. “Chris Cuomo was suspended earlier this week pending further evaluation of new information that came to light about his involvement with his brother’s defense,” the company stated.

“The last thing I ever wanted to do was compromise any of my colleagues and do anything but help,” he added. “You know this already. It hurts to even say it.”

Chris Cuomo was not the only one implicated in Andrew’s scandal. Tina Tchen, former chief of staff for Michelle Obama, was also exposed for offering advice to the disgraced politician amid the damning allegations against him.

Andrew Cuomo initially denied the allegations, insisting, “I want you to know directly from me that I never touched anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual advances.”

Regardless, the Democratic politician resigned from office due to intense media scrutiny.
