EPL: Owen Gives Prediction On Man Utd Vs New Castle, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Others

Michael Owen, a former Manchester United, and Real Madrid forward has predicted several of the Premier League’s matchday 19 games.

Newcastle United will face Manchester United at St. James’ Park on Monday night.

Chelsea will play Aston Villa in an away Premier League match on Sunday evening.

On Boxing Day, Manchester City will play Leicester City at the Etihad Stadium, while Arsenal will play Norwich City.

Owen predicting the matches said BetVictor: “After a good start to his tenure, Dean Smith has seen his side struggle in their last few games. Norwich’s next few matches after this win will go a long way in determining their future.

“Arsenal continue to get better and better and are possibly the ones to beat for that 4th spot. This should be comfortable for Arsenal. I’m predicting a 2-0 away win.”

Speaking on the Manchester City vs Leicester City game, Owen said, “Things aren’t quite right with Leicester at the minute. They have been inconsistent all season, but to be fair, they have been desperately unlucky with injuries. They were superb in that 4-0 win over Newcastle in their last, but how will they perform here?

“I can only say this going one way. Leicester might nick a goal, but City will win 4-1.”

Owen commenting on the Aston Villa vs Chelsea fixture said, “I’m delighted to see Steven Gerrard do so well at Villa.

“Chelsea are in their worst form of the season and possibly since Thomas Tuchel took charge. More dropped points for Chelsea will make it difficult to win the league. I can see this Villa side frustrating them and getting a point. I fancy a 1-1 draw.”

He said about Newcastle vs Manchester United match, “This is one of my favorite fixtures and St James’ Park will be noisy for this one.

“I’m very interested to see how Man United performs. With the home fans behind them, I can see Newcastle scoring. I don’t trust them at the back, though and United will score a couple of their own. 2-1.”

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
