Imudia, The Former CEO Of Konga, Commits Suicide In His Lagos Home

Nick Imudia, the former CEO of Konga, a major Nigerian e-commerce company, is said to have committed suicide.

On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in the evening, Imudia was reported to have committed the deed by jumping from the balcony of his flat in the Lekki neighborhood of Lagos State.

The businessman allegedly called his brother in the United States before he passed away to give him instructions on how to divide his money and to reassure his young daughter that he would always be there for her.

As to a post on TheWill, friends, family, and connections of Imudia remain shocked as to why he would take his own life.

An indigene of the Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, Imudia was previously married to the mother of his young daughter.

The marriage ended due to irreconcilable differences.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the case to our correspondent on Thursday.

“Yes, it is true. He committed the act on June 25,” Hundeyin said.

There is always a reason to stay alive. You are loved. You are worthy. You are enough. You are not alone. Suicide is not an answer, it’s destruction.
