Just In: Thugs Attack Businessmen In Alaba Market Trying To Register For Their PVCs

Traders from Alaba International Market were allegedly beaten and prevented from acquiring their PVCs at Ojo Local Government in Lagos on Thursday, June 9.

One of those injured during the attack was shown by a lady in a video she uploaded online.

This comes only days after businessmen said that they will lock down their stores today to collect their PVCs in time for the presidential election in 2023.

Nigerians have taken to Twitter to lament the discrimination against the businessmen, who are majority Igbos.
