Music Should Be Tool To Unite The World — Habeeb Victor

A singer and producer, Habeeb Victor, aka Main Man Beat, is of the opinion that beyond being a form of entertainment, music should be used as a tool to unite the people of the world.

Victor, who is currently working on his Extended Play album, told Sunday Scoop, “I am currently working on my EP and it will be finished before the end of 2021. I produced all the tracks, but the mixing and mastering will be done at Gulfam Studios, Los Angeles, United States of America.

“As far as I’m concerned, the more important function of music is to unite people of all races and cultures across the world. My goal is to be a great man that would have a positive impact on humans around the globe. I am confident that through my music, I can achieve my dreams. I put God first in all my endeavours and always work hard.” Recalling how he started his career, the entertainer said, “I started singing and rapping at the age of nine. I attended Etuenre Primary School, Ikorodu, and Badagry Grammar School, Badagry, (both in Lagos) for my elementary and secondary education respectively. I went on to study Chemical and Polymer Engineering at the Lagos State University. However, I have always had a fierce love for music. Right now, I am doing both together.

“However, I started music production in 2005 and I have been doing it to date. I majorly produce hip-hop and afro beats, but I can also work on any genre. I have worked with artistes such as Solid Star, Sound Sultan, Baba Dee and Faze.”
