Nba Finals: Giannis Antetokounmpo Seals Milwaukee Bucks First Nba Title In 50yrs With Heroic 50-point Performance

A Nigerian born in Greece, Giannis Antetokounmpo (Adetokunbo), on Tuesday night, sealed Milwaukee Bucks first title since 1971 with heroic 50-point performance at the NBA Finals.

Giannis scored 50 points along with 14 rebounds and five blocks to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to the 2021 NBA championship after they defeated the Phoenix Suns 105-98 at home to take the Finals series 4-2.

Exactly three weeks after suffering a knee injury that appeared to put his role in the Finals in doubt, Giannis carried Milwaukee to their first championship in 50 years.

With the victory, the Bucks clinched the NBA Finals 4-2 and became the only fifth team to win the best-of-seven championship series after losing the first two games.

This makes Giannis the second person to lead the Bucks to an NBA title, after Abdul-Jabbar and Robertson led the team to its first championship in 1971. He also joins Michael Jordan and Hakeem Olajuwon as the only players in NBA history to win a regular season MVP Award, a Finals MVP Award and a Defensive Player of the Year Award.

Warmest congratulations on your achievement Giannis Antetokounmpo! Keep winning
