According to reports, American musician R. Kelly was admitted to the Butner Federal Correctional Complex in North Carolina following a suspected overdose.
After taking a massive amount of medication that his attorney, Beau B. Brindley, says might have been lethal due to dizziness and visual loss, R. Kelly reportedly fainted in his prison cell on June 13, 2025.
After being taken to Duke University Hospital, medical professionals found blood clots in his lungs and legs. Two days prior to this incident, Kelly’s team accused jail officials of conspiring against him.
Kelly has been placed back in solitary confinement, where his attorney says he is subjected to cruel treatment.
Fears of poisoning, a spider-infested cell, and limited access to commissary food or phone calls are some of these situations.
