The final of the competition was played in Paris, France and it was between two of the biggest clubs in Europe – Liverpool and Real Madrid.
The match was a fiercely contested one, however, after the game, it was the Spanish side who won the match and in total, the team has won the trophy a record 14 times.
The match ended 1-0 in favor of the Spanish club with the goal scored by talented Brazilian player, Vinicius Jnr. Since this is the last match of the season, it gives the team a good feeling as the players head into the summer break.
