Rumours Of Thomas Tuchel To Bayern Munich.

There has been rumour of Bayern Munich hiring former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel, after an unpleasant start to the season.

The German champions are fourth in the Bundesliga after seven games, five points behind Union Berlin, who are number one on the table.

Bayern’s coach, Julian Nagelsmann is now under more pressure after Bayern’s 1-0 loss to Augsburg on Saturday.

However, the club’s CEO, Oliver Kahn has openly backed Julian Nagelsmann amid rumours that the team is interested in Thomas Tuchel.

Oliver Kahn said while speaking to Sky Germany, “We are not dealing with any other coaches now. We are totally convinced of Julian.

“Of course, we are all dissatisfied, in a bad mood.

“We have to get to the bottom of it all. And assume that as soon as it starts again against Leverkusen, we will and must attack fully.”

He also said the board would see “which levers we can move so that we can quickly get back on the road to success in the Bundesliga”.

Haaland Wins Premier League Player Of The Month.

Manchester City’s new signing, Erling Haaland has been awarded Premier League Player of the Month for August.

The English club paid £51 million to recruit the Norwegian forward from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

He has scored nine goals in his first five Premier League games in August before adding another in early September, giving him ten goals in his first six games.

The 22-year-old striker scored twice against West Ham United, once against Newcastle United, and three times in two games against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest to help City win four of their first five games.

To win the award, the Norwegian outperformed other nominees such as Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic and Arsenal forwards Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard.

Chelsea Set To Hire New Director Of Sports.

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has unveiled the next stage in his planned rebuild of the London club, just two weeks after firing German coach Thomas Tuchel.

The American business billionaire has reportedly concluded a deal to hire Christoph Freund as Stamford Bridge’s next director of football.

Freund, 45, arrives with a long track record of uncovering promising chances through the use of data. He is widely regarded as having played a key role in the signing of current Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and the young Benjamin Sesko to RB Salzburg.

Many Chelsea fans say that after spending an eye-watering £271.1 million in the summer window, most of the transactions looked out of place, and the club does not appear to be stronger than it was last season.

According to Romano, new manager Graham Potter is happy with the Austrian’s profile and believes he has the pedigree to help him implement Boehly’s long-term vision for the club.

Although a verbal agreement has been reached, and Salzburg is reportedly ready to let their man pursue what is surely an intriguing chance, the agreement is not anticipated to be completed until later this week.

Paul Pogba’s Brother Arrested By Police For Blackmail.

Police have reportedly arrested Juventus midfielder, Paul Pogba’s older brother Mathias over blackmail accusations.

On Wednesday, Mathias was detained on suspicion of taking part in a scheme to blackmail his brother Pogba.

Along with four other people in police custody, the suspect was detained in Paris after being called in by the police for questioning.

He is accused of taking part in an effort to blackmail his brother out of €13 million (£11.2 million).

According to Le Monde, Mathias was called by the police and detained right away when he showed up for questioning.

After being led at gunpoint to a flat in the eastern Paris neighbourhood of Roissy-en-Brie in March, Paul Pogba reportedly gave the criminals €100,000 (£85,000).

From age 16, when he first became a professional footballer, the former Manchester United star said he was required to pay ‘protection money’ worth €1m (£860,000) every year.

Pogba reportedly tried to withdraw the entire sum, but his bank denied him permission.

Instead, the 29-year-old gave the gang £85,000, but as they insisted on additional money, he filed a criminal complaint.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
