Words Have Power

Words have power, and our perspectives are frequently influenced by the words that we pay attention to on a regular basis. What seeds we allow to be sown in our lives have the power to shape the trajectory of our lives.

It is not an act of humility to remain silent in the face of a critical or derogatory remark made about us simply because we do not wish to appear impolite. To ensure that we do not become victims of a curse, we must ensure that we do everything in our power to prevent it from taking hold in our lives.

This week, God wants us to be aware of the words we take in and to be prepared to halt any negative or erroneous words uttered against us. He also wants us to be ready to defend ourselves against words that are spoken against us. The evil degrees that we fail to eradicate have the ability to evolve into lifelong bonds if left unchecked.

Today's Quote

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
