18-Year-Old Lesbian Remanded In Custody For K!lling Man Who R@ped Her

An 18-year-old lesbian, accused of fatally stabbing a 19-year-old man who allegedly r@ped her, remains detained after her case was deferred to August 7 for a formal bail application at the Thohoyandou Magistrate’s Court on Friday, July 25.

Dakalo Avheani Mulaudzi faces murder charges following the death of Shonisani Mahwasane in the early hours of Sunday in Lwamondo, Khumbe village, Limpopo.

“It is alleged [Mahwasane] was with [Mulaudzi] drinking alcohol at [his] home,” said Vhembe police spokesperson Vuledzani Dathi.

“Mahwasane [allegedly] demanded to have s3x with [Mulaudzi] though she is lesbian and said he wanted [her] to experience how it feels to have s3x with a man.

“[Mahwasane] then [allegedly] forced himself on [her], threatening her with a knife and r@ped her. [She allegedly] took the knife from [him] and stabbed him multiple times,” Dathi said.

The incident has elicited varied responses within the local community. While some residents demand justice for Mahwasane, claiming he was incapable of such violence, others advocate for a comprehensive investigation, highlighting ongoing concerns about women’s safety and the prevalence of so-called “corrective r@pe.”

Police state that the investigation continues as Mulaudzi awaits her next court appearance.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
