18-Year-Old Takes Her Life After Parents Stopped Her From Aborting A Rapist’s Child

A grieving lady took to Twitter to blame her relatives for failing her cousin, who was raped by a family friend.

According to the lady, her 18-year-old cousin killed herself because her family was pressuring her to give birth to her rapist’s child.

The rapist was a family friend who resided in the same house as the family.

Her cousin’s parents forced him to leave the house after the incident happened, but they did not call the police.

They then shut their daughter up in the house when they found out she was pregnant, to prevent her from having an abortion.

Before her cousin killed herself, she sent an email to other family members, explaining her decision.

“My 18 yr old cousin took her own life last night. In the email she sent to some of us she said she was r*ped by a family friend her parents let stay at their house, they didn’t call the police they let him leave. When they found out she was pregnant they locked her in the house.

“I’m too drained to respond to everyone
but thank you all for your condolences.
It’s going to be another sleepless night for
me but I truly appreciate the support.
