Be pure In heart! Be poor In Spirit!!

Wednesday of week 15 in Ordinary Time

Exodus 3:1-6,9-12
Psalm 102(103):1-4,6-7
Matthew 11:25-27

In today’s powerful declaration of Christ in the gospel, we discover that the knowledge of the Father is revealed to the “little ones.” But who are these little ones, you ask? They are the humble, the poor in spirit, those who embrace the beauty of obedience to the Father.

Imagine Moses, standing before the burning bush, completely awestruck! He was called by God to embark on one of the most monumental missions in the history of Israel. That moment of profound humility, symbolized by the act of taking off his shoes, illustrates the total submission we are invited to embrace.

Every single day, God’s call resonates around us—are we truly open to experiencing its power? Do we allow His grace to reach the very core of our being and ignite a transformation within us? Or do we stumble and block the Holy Spirit’s flow through our sins?

Remember, Jesus promises, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” To behold Him face to face, we must cultivate innocence and unwavering obedience. So, let’s dive into this divine invitation and prepare our hearts to encounter God in all His glory!

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.”
