 Romans 4:1-8
Psalm 31(32):1-2,5,11
Luke 12:1-7

In our gospel today, Jesus highlights God’s love using sparrows—tiny, seemingly insignificant creatures. To us, sparrows are common and interchangeable, but to God, each one matters; none are expendable. This shows that God’s love extends to everything, even the smallest creatures, and everything exists because of God’s love.

If God’s love includes sparrows, it certainly includes us, who are worth more. God’s love is attentive, detailed, and unique for each of us, recognizing our individual beauty. We are loved deeply, down to the smallest detail. This love is fierce and unshakable, never leaving us. Therefore, there’s no reason for anxiety, fear, or sadness when we understand God’s infinite love for us.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
