Today, we celebrate one of the greatest Popes in the history of the Church—Pope Leo the Great! A true leader and shepherd of souls, he defended the unity of the Church and stood courageously against invasion and falsehood. Pope Leo was a passionate pastor who wrote inspiring pastoral letters, urging everyone to serve God with humility and gratitude.
St. Leo reminds us:
“No one, however weak, is denied a share in the victory of the cross. No one is beyond the help of the prayer of Christ.”
Let us pray boldly, asking the Lord through the powerful intercession of St. Leo the Great, to kindle in us a deep love for God and His Church. May our faith help us fight errors and live in truth and righteousness.
