Dr. Okwuonu’s participation is a testament to his exceptional work in nephrology, particularly in kidney transplantation and care. He’s a pioneer in Southeast Nigeria, having led the first successful kidney transplant in the region at Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, in 2017.
