Abuja Pastor Arrested Over S3xual Exploitation Of 13-Year-Old Girl

Authorities have detained a pastor for allegedly s3xually exploiting a 13-year-old girl in Mpape, Abuja.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama reported that the incident took place on 2 August 2025, at approximately 1803 hours, when a resident of Dogo Block Off Mashafa Road, Mpape, stated that her daughter, (named withheld), aged 13, had been away from home for four days before returning.

When the mother attempted to discipline her daughter, their neighbor, Pastor Joseph (surname not disclosed) from the same address, stepped in and recommended that the girl be brought to his residence for counseling.

It was subsequently revealed that the suspect had allegedly s3xually exploited and abused the minor.

The FCT Police swiftly arrested the suspect, and both the victim and the suspect were taken to a hospital for medical evaluations.

“The victim is receiving medical attention and psychological support, in line with standard procedures for alleged child victims,” sources said.

According to the sources, the case will be handled in accordance with Nigeria’s laws on child rights and s3xual violence.

If convicted, the suspect could face severe consequences, including possible imprisonment and other penalties as stipulated by law.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
