Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi’s fourth wife, Queen Ashley, has talked about her strength.
As she celebrated the start of a new month, the Ife Queen stated that she now recognizes her duty as a queen since she was nurtured as a princess and was equipped by yesterday’s teachings to wear the crown of today with strength, peace, and purpose.
“I understand my role as a queen now because I was born and raised a princess, prepared by yesterday’s lessons to wear today’s crown with purpose, power, and peace.
My strength is a legacy that is passed down, lived through, and blossoms with every step I take toward becoming who I was always meant to be. I am both grace and fire, intuition and intellect, resilience wrapped in elegance. When I step into my purpose, I don’t just evolve, I reign.
