Rachael Okonkwo, a Nollywood actress, is commemorating the second anniversary of her late friend and colleague Junior Pope.
She told him in a heartfelt letter that losing him was one of the most difficult things life had ever thrown at her and everyone around him. She mentioned that even though it has been two years, she still thinks about him every single day.
She wrote;
“Oyom
My kind brother
NSK’s first son
Two years today, and not a single day has passed without you on my mind.
Losing you was one of the hardest things life has ever handed me, and everyone around you. Oyom, you were not just my brother; you were a light, a strength, a beautiful soul who made life warmer just by being in it.
You lived with kindness, love, and a heart so pure, and that’s how I choose to remember you always.
Though you’re no longer here with us, your presence is still felt
Keep resting in peace, my brother. Till we meet again”.
May his soul continue to rest in perfect peace.
