All About School Life – Episode 4

Good day everyone, welcome to another episode of ‘All About School Life.’ In this episode, I am going to be talking about my general school life, but I will not be going into details😁.

Living On My Own
Well, I stayed in the boarding house in secondary school, so this part was not different for me. Except that it comes with more responsibilities.

So I adjusted to being my caretaker. Nobody to wake me up from sleep, nobody to cook for me, I will monitor my spending (I don’t like this part), nobody to force me to go for lectures, nobody to force me to go to church. Every decision is made by me.

Making Friends
I don’t know how to make friends, I’m very quiet, but noisy around people I know. Funny enough, most people that meet me for the first time always say, “This boy is quiet but I don’t trust him, there is something about this boy 😂😂😂.”

I find it hard to socialize, I will be thinking plenty of nonsense in my head, about what to say and what not to say, then end up not saying anything. So I have very few friends in school, mostly lodge mates, friends from secondary school, coursemates, and friends from church. And also, I have very few female friends.

Academic Life
This one is very important and is the main reason we are in school. It’s not very easy but you will need to keep pushing. Some days will be very smooth and some will be something else. Exam days are the worse for me. My emotions will hardly be neutral or normal after any paper, I am either happy or angry, except I decide to ‘comot’ mind and focus on the next day. It’s this part of school life that brings the most stress, physically and mentally, but with time you get used to it.

My Faith And It Activities
In school, it’s very easy to just lay back and sleep on a Sunday morning (as a Christian) and not go to church. Some of us that our parents like calling (my pops 😂💓) to ask if we went to church or not, then that is when we start feeling remorse. Then next Sunday we will not still go to church😂.

Well that’s how I used to be but I have changed, thank God. I am very serious about my church activities and my relationship with God❤.

Financial. troubles
Yeah😂, because it is mostly trouble, if you are not paying for this, you will be buying that. Small thing money don finish. Thank God for foodstuff, if not 😂😂. Money no too dey, but e no mean say you go look down on me ooo, because I fit employ you tomorrow 😂.

Relationship
It’s three years now since I last dated a girl. As a good boy, I can’t be doing such 😁, so I dropped that part of my life.
