All About School Life – Episode 6

Good day everyone and happy Sunday to you all. Welcome to another episode of All About School Life. I will be sharing an experience of how thieves came to my lodge in school.

Where I stay in school is a two-story building and my room is on the second floor. My room is kind of close to the fence because it’s at the backside of the lodge. So someone can easily climb in without a ladder especially as the room under mine has a burglary, making the climbing even easier.

My room also has a balcony without burglary, just a pavement where you can lean on. Then we have a back door that leads to the balcony and also burglary protected window beside the door.

Remember I told you in one of the previous episodes, when I was talking about my social life, that I think too much. Well, it was …beneficial this night because I always locked the back door before we sleep. No matter the heat in the room, we can open the window ooo but the back door must be locked because I suspected something like this will happen one day.

So one particular Saturday morning, some thieves climbed into the balcony but couldn’t enter inside the room because the back door was locked and the balcony window has a burglary.

Since they couldn’t enter, they decided to use a stick that they had brought with them to try and pull close anything of value they could see to the window and collect.

Fortunately, God was watching for us. Our socket for charging is very close to the window, like very close. They could just use the stick to pull the charging cord with the phone out.

And as I said, I think too much 😁, I have thought of most of these things before. So I always put my phone and my brother’s phone far from the window before I sleep. I always help him because he doses off too much, small thing, oga has slept with his phone in his hand.

But this particular night na me loose guard. I slept with my phone in my hand and I slept late, around 1:30 am. My brother said he woke up around 3 and took our phones to the basket where we normally keep our books.

So these guys could not steal anything. They just took one of my trousers that I spread outside the balcony 😂😂, the thing no dey even size me self, is like the man is short or he was pained.

Now, how did I know that someone came🤔, maybe I just imagined it 😂. Nope, I didn’t. When we woke up, I tried to open the balcony and discovered that someone used something to tie it from outside in case anyone woke up during their operation, they will escape before you can open the door. They also left their stick there.

I was just laughing and thanking God because we would have woken up on the ground, or them for even thief my brother join because that boy dey sleep 😂.
