Amber Heard Plans To Appeal Against Johnny Depp Defamation Verdict

Actor Amber Heard is not giving up yet. Yeah…the actress is reportedly planning to appeal against her ex-husband; Johnny Depp after losing a defamation case on domestic abuse charges.

Juries in a Virginia court ruled in favor of Depp’s defamation claim in three cases, awarding the Pirates of the Caribbean actor a $15m (£12m) award, which was later reduced to $10.35m by a judge.

Heard spokesman Alafire Hall said the Aquaman actor plans to appeal the decision, According to the New York Times.

Heard sought $100 million in a countersuit against Depp in which he said he had been defamed by his press agent, who described his allegations as “a hoax of abuse” aimed at capitalizing on the #MeToo movement. . She only succeeded on one count and was awarded $2m.
