Andrew Tate Pleads For Freedom From House Arrest

Andrew Tate, an influencer, and his brother Tristan have filed an appeal against a judge’s decision to keep them under house arrest on s3x trafficking allegations.

Andrew Tate, 36, and his brother are now awaiting word from the court on whether they will be released from home arrest.

They are challenging a court decision last month that extended the brothers’ home imprisonment for another 30 days.

Their presence today before the Court of Appeal in Bucharest comes after the influencer was formally accused in June of rape, human trafficking, and organizing a criminal gang to exploit women. Human trafficking charges were filed against Tristan and two Romanian women.

It also comes only hours after Tate made a harsh remark regarding a photo of Britain’s Got Talent contestant Amanda Holden wearing a bikini while on vacation.

Tate dubbed the “King of Toxic Masculinity,” responded to Ms Holden’s tweet with a photo of her showering in a bikini by stating, “You are a wife and a mother, and you’re far past a teenager.” There is no need for this post.’

Tate, who was arrested in Bucharest on December 29 and has denied the claims, has lost a series of challenges against his house detention, which he hopes will alter today.

“I am in the Bucharest Court of Appeal to find out if I will be detained for a ninth month,” Tate wrote on Twitter today. “Three months in jail, six months locked in my house.”

After three months in police prison in Bucharest, the Tate brothers won an appeal to be moved to house arrest on March 31.

After filing its probe, Romania’s anti-organized crime agency, DIICOT, requested that judges extend the house arrest measure in June.

Andrew Tate, who has gained 7.2 million Twitter followers and has been accused of peddling conspiracy theories online, has frequently stated that authorities have no evidence against him and that there is a political scheme to suppress him.

DIICOT claims Tate, his brother Tristan, and two Romanian women, Luana Radu and Georgiana Naghel, created a criminal gang in 2021 ‘to conduct the crime of people trafficking’ in Romania, as well as the United States and the United Kingdom.

According to DIICOT, there are seven female victims in the case who were enticed with false pretenses of love and brought to Romania, where the gang sexually abused them and subjected them to physical assault.

According to the agency, one suspect is accused of raping a lady twice in March 2022. Prosecutors claimed the ladies were controlled by ‘intimidation, continual surveillance,’ and assertions they were in debt.

It was alleged last week that leaked messages showed Tate coercing women into conducting sex work for him.

When the influencer was apprehended in Romania in December, prosecutors accused him of employing the ‘loverboy’ tactic to attract women to his compound in Bucharest under the pretence of being in a relationship before forcing them to undertake sex labor.

According to Rolling Stone, which cited screenshots of supposed conversations from the ‘War Room’ (Tate’s group chat with his followers) and other texts from 2021, the influencer spoke to women as “targets” and “assets,” and spoke of isolating and exploiting them.

In one alleged correspondence, he suggested isolating one woman until she ‘lost her support networks at home’ and keeping her in the Bucharest facility.

Tate also appeared to solicit assistance from his accomplices in forcing one lady to publish sexual content on OnlyFans, an internet content subscription platform primarily utilized by sex workers.

In the message, Tate tells followers he’ll be “making the play tonight.”

“Since she moved [to Bucharest] she’s been fed. But nothing else,” he wrote.

“She’s broke. And she can’t go home. And she can’t leave the house. Man, I sound almost evil,” he added according to the leaked messages.
