Another Lady Hospitalized After Refusing To Fart In Front Of Her Boyfriend

Recall that AgnesIsika Blog previously reported how a female musician, Viviane de Queiroz Pereira, popularly known as Pocah, was hospitalized for trapped air after she held her fart for too long because of her boyfriend.

A 19-year-old lady has now also been hospitalized and required to undergo emergency surgery as she had refused to fart around her partner for two years.

On Tuesday, March 29, Cara Clarke, 19, was at work when she had “extreme stomach pain”

She was diagnosed with appendicitis after she was brought to the hospital.

It was identified that obstructions and pressure build-up can cause the illness. Cara believes her problem was caused by her suppressed farts around her partner which resulted in pressure build-up.

She said her 21-year-old boyfriend, Kyle Duffy, whom she has been with for two years, said he was “dying laughing” at her attempts to avoid farting in his presence.

Cara promised to just “let it out from now on.”

She said: “I do hold in my farts but I didn’t think I would be in hospital over it.

“I’m pretty easy-going other than the burps and farts. I was at work on Tuesday and I had this real extreme pain in my stomach.

“I went to the doctor in hysterics and he referred me straight to the hospital. I was in so much pain I couldn’t hold in my tears.

“My doctor said to me ‘I’m so, so sorry you’re in so much pain’. I was limping when I was walking all hunched over.

“At the hospital, I started blaming my boyfriend because I do always hold my farts in around him. We’ve been together two years and it’s still the case.

“Kyle was dying laughing. He honestly didn’t know what to say. He said, ‘God, people are going to think you’re afraid of everything with me.’

“At this stage, I’ll just have to let it out from now on,” she said.

Cara was discharged from the hospital on March 31.

She said: “It wasn’t one of those hectic surgeries that it used to be a while ago. I’m on strong painkillers and I should be back to work in the next week or so.

“I’m just chilling now and taking advantage of everyone catering for me.”

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
