Just In: Another Victim Of Asake’s Concert Crash Passes On

Gabriella Hutchinson, a 23-year-old security guard, has lost her life after being injured in a stampede at a music concert hosted by singer Asake at her 02 Academy in Brixton, UK.

The Daily Mail reports that the victim, who worked as a security guard at the concert, died in hospital on Monday, four days after Thursday night’s incident.

Hutchinson became the second victim to lose her life in the incident after 33-year-old Rebecca Ikumelo died on Saturday.

The Metropolitan Police Department announced that a 23-year-old woman under treatment was in critical condition.

Superintendent Colin Wingrove, Lambeth and Southwark police chief, said: “This is devastating news that a second person has lost her life following the events of Thursday. “My deepest condolences to Gabriel’s family during this incredibly difficult time.”

Asake’s concert was canceled mid-Thursday after many fans without tickets tried to break down the door and enter the venue.

Police and other emergency services were called to his O2 Academy in Brixton at 9am.
At 11:35 p.m., there was a call that “a large number of people tried to force their way into the venue.”

Four people were seriously injured and four others were hospitalized.

Sadly, Ikumelo, a mother of two children, passed away as a result of a crush on Saturday.

Asake shared the tragic news on her own Twitter account, expressing condolences to her deceased family and asking for prayers for them.

May their soul rest in perfect peace.
