The Restoration Apostle, Prof. Johnson Suleman, President and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, visited Benue, Nigeria, for a two-day crusade in light of the “MIGHTY TURNAROUND” movement for the year 2022.
Apostle Johnson Suleman paid a visit to the government house in Benue State with his wife, Dr. Lizzy Johnson Suleman, a Benue native, and senior pastor at Omega Fire Ministry.
They were greeted warmly by officials from the Benue state government House, as well as Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom, who presented the Apostle and his wife with traditional Benue clothing.
Governor Samuel Ortom was commended by the man of God for his efforts in establishing a functioning system in the state and supporting the Kingdom’s work.
Apostle Johnson Suleman donated the sum of 20 million naira to IDPs in Benue State, while addressing difficulties faced by the state and different methods to support the government and people.
Following a significant increase in the number of Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, which the state government is currently struggling with, Benue State is currently experiencing the worst humanitarian crisis in recent moments.
Though official data indicated that over 1.5 million IDPs were seeking refuge in various official and unofficial camps as well as host communities around the state, the number of IDPs in the state has now risen to close to 1.8 million, well beyond the state government’s carrying capacity.
Known for assisting the less privileged, Apostle Johnson Suleman’s Touch of Love Foundation gives scholarships, builds homes for the aged, supplies craftsmen with tools, equipment, and machinery for their work, gifts people with vehicles, and provides financial support to talented and skillful individuals, among other things.
The massive Turnaround crusade in Makurdi, Benue State, will take place from Tuesday, February 8th, to Wednesday, February 9th, 2022 in the IBB Square in Makurdi.
