Arsenal Wins Tottenham 3-1, Antonio Conte Reveals Why

Antonio Conte, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, has explained why his team fell short against Arsenal on Saturday, losing 3-1.

After Harry Kane’s penalty cancelled out Thomas Partey’s magnificent opener, Gabriel Jesus and Granit Xhaka sealed the win for Arsenal with two goals.

With the score at 2-1, Emerson Royal of Spurs was shown a straight red card for a challenge on Gabriel Martinelli.

According to Antonio Conte, the game was over after referee Anthony Taylor’s red card call.

Speaking to BT Sports, Conte said, “I think the first half was in the balance. We had many chances to score. We made a big mistake with the last pass because we had great space. In the second half, we conceded a second goal early and we could do much better.

“With the red card, [went] the game. It was a really difficult game after that. We had to change totally then. It was the referee’s decision and I don’t want to comment.”
