Baby D!es While ‘Mum Used Hair Dryer On Him

According to officials, a baby died from burns after his intoxicated mother tried to warm him up with a hair drier and then passed out while it was still on.

Morgan Alyson Creel, 32, of Georgia in the United States, is now charged with second-degree murder.

Creel contacted 911 after waking up in November 2023 to find her six-week-old son motionless, according to Fox 5 Atlanta.

When they came, Creel stated that she had fallen asleep while lying down with her baby, trying to warm him up with a hair dryer.

Police attempted CPR on the boy, who suffered significant burns on his right side, but he could not be rescued and was pronounced dead.

The incident report claims that cops discovered a “marijuana smoking apparatus” on the rear porch.

Authorities charge Creel with being under the influence of a controlled narcotic when the baby died.

The next day, she was arrested on one count of second-degree cruelty to minors and released on bond.

Almost a year later, while still on bond, she was captured allegedly weaving in and out of traffic and detained for driving under the influence, according to Law & Crime.

Then, earlier this month, a grand jury indicted her on another allegation of second-degree murder, according to an indictment obtained by Fox 5.

Creel allegedly “…did cause cruel and excessive physical and mental pain by leaving a blow-dryer on, and blowing heated air near said child while said accused was passed out and under the influence of a controlled substance,” according to the indictment, obtained by the news outlet.

Creel was arrested on January 24 and taken to Coweta County Jail.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
