Bandits Kidnap Pastor In Niger State

Suspected bandits have abducted a pastor named Sunday Musa in Niger State.

Reports indicate that the incident took place around 4:00 a.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025, in Samunaka, a village near Babanna in Borgu Local Government Area of the state.

The assailants, approximately twenty in number, invaded the village, firing shots indiscriminately before taking the cleric to an undisclosed location.

The police stated that they were informed by the Officer-in-Charge of the Babanna Police Outstation, who promptly notified tactical teams and local vigilantes in the region.

According to the police, operations are currently underway to locate the kidnappers and safely rescue the victim, with increased patrols across vulnerable communities in the Babanna–Borgu axis.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
