Bishop Oyedepo’s Daughter Reveals How Her Father Escaped Assassination

Love Ogah, the daughter of Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide and a well-known Nigerian preacher, has disclosed a startling story of an attempted murder of her father when she was in high school.

Ogah described how a gang of hired assassins broke into their house with the intention of killing Bishop Oyedepo during a recent sermon.

“The assassins came and said they came to kill my father. They searched everywhere, room to room, but couldn’t find him,” she narrated. “After they left, my father came out and said he saw them the whole time — they just couldn’t see him. All of us were looking like it was a film trick.”

She added that Bishop Oyedepo  maintained he remained physically present and watched the intruders, yet they were supernaturally blinded to his presence.

You might have heard church leaders using this phrase “touch not the anointed”. This phrase indicates that a pastor has a special anointing from God, so that anyone who wants to stand up against him, God will put a curse to them.

It also emphasize the importance of protecting and respecting those who God has chosen to lead, whether in a spiritual or political context.
