Bisola Aiyeola Opens Up About Heartbreaking Loss Of Her Daughter’s Father In 2018

Bisola Aiyeola, a Nollywood actress and former Big Brother Naija star, has thought deeply about the passing of her daughter Layla’s father.

In an interview on Ife Agoro’s show, the actress described how he battled a disease and died in 2018.

She and her family were devastated by the devastating news. Bisola claimed that when she called her mother and sister right away, they both started crying.

She revealed that Layla was only eight years old when her father passed away, and she called telling her daughter about the loss one of the most agonizing experiences of her life.

Additionally, Bisola clarified that he was never an absentee father, pointing out that he continued to be active in Layla’s life and made an effort to see how she was doing.

Although the actress doesn’t often discuss him in public, she once brought him up when she was given the Trailblazer Award at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards. She bemoaned the fact that he was not present to see her success in the film business during her acceptance speech.

“It was a heartbreaking experience. He died in August 2018. He was sick and had been on admission in the hospital. My mother and sister went to visit him on a Sunday, and he died on Friday. We had even spoken over the phone, and he was sounding better and said he would be discharged on Friday. Someone later called me on his phone from the hospital and said he was no more.”
