Nigerian hip-hop artist Emeka Akumefule, aka Blaqbonez, has claimed that there is no such thing as “true love” in Lagos state.
He made the statement in a recent chat with popular podcaster Fay Fay.
Blaqbonez claimed he had seen true love in Nasarawa and Adamawa and a little bit in Akwa Ibom but there was no true love in Lagos.
He said, “I have seen true love in other states. You know, like Nasarawa, Yola [Adamawa]… I think I have seen a little bit in Akwa Ibom, but I have never witnessed it in Lagos.”
The first step to finding or witnessing true love in Lagos is allowing yourself to strongly believe that it exists. Blaqbonez, I think you need to look out for someone with whom you can foster, nurture and grow love and I believe you can get that person in Lagos.
