Breaking News: Popular Nigerian Singer Is Arrested by Police

The well-known Nigerian singer Portable has been taken into custody by the Nigeria Police Force’s Lagos State Command.
The musician was detained because he didn’t pay the remaining amount on a G-Wagon he bought from a car dealer.

According to reports, Portable paid only N13 million for the car, refusing to pay the remaining N14 million even after the car dealer urged him to. The vehicle was reportedly acquired for N27 million.

Punch says that the car dealer would usually tell him that the car wasn’t good when he called to ask him to pay the remaining amount. The vehicle dealer reportedly reported the issue to the police and policemen assigned to Portable after becoming frustrated with the attempts to get the latter to pay the remaining amount.

When contacted, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that Portable had been arrested.

He said, “Yes, Portable has been arrested. He bought G-Wagon for N27m, paid N13m and refused to pay the rest, claiming the vehicle was bad. We arrested him today.”
