Brother Of NFL Star Arrested For Aggravated Sexual Battery

The younger brother of NFL player Patrick Mahomes, Jackson Mahomes, has been arrested for aggravated sexual battery.

The incident allegedly occurred at a Kansas restaurant in February and Mahomes was taken into custody on May 3.

Patrick’s brother bond was set at $100,000 and he has been charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of misdemeanour battery.

The 40-year-old owner of the Aspens Restaurant and Lounge accused Jackson of sexually and physically assaulting her, stating that he tried to forcibly kiss her multiple times.

She also alleged that he appeared intoxicated and shoved a male member of her wait staff earlier in the night.

Brandan Davies, Jackson’s attorney, claimed that their investigation revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser, including the statements of several witnesses.

Davies stated that they have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of their investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.

The incident was caught on surveillance video and has been under police investigation since March. A conviction for aggravated sexual battery in Kansas can carry up to a 55-month sentence.

Jackson has been known for documenting his life on social media and spent several weeks out of the public eye following the allegations.

He has since returned to social media and attended the NFL Draft in Kansas City last week. However, this is not the first time he has found himself in controversy.

He faced backlash for dumping water on Baltimore Ravens fans at a game in 2021 and doing a TikTok dance over Washington’s field memorial for late NFL star Sean Taylor a few weeks later. Jackson was also recorded grabbing a woman’s face in Las Vegas in 2022.

The incident involving Jackson has raised concerns about sexual assault and harassment in the workplace, especially in the restaurant industry.

Many women in the industry have shared their own experiences with sexual harassment and assault, highlighting the need for better protection and support for victims.

It is important to take allegations of sexual assault and harassment seriously and to provide a safe and supportive environment for victims to come forward and seek justice.
