Candace Owens Fired From Daily Wire Over Allegedly Antisemitism

Candace Owens, a far-right influencer, has been sacked from her hosting job at the Daily Wire for repeatedly promoting antisemitism.

Candace has left the Daily Wire after three years as a pundit, the firm revealed on Friday.

“Daily Wire and Candace Owens have ended their relationship,” Daily Wire cofounder and CEO Jeremy Boreing announced on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Friday morning.

Owens also confirmed on X that she would no longer be working with the Daily Wire, writing, “The rumors are true — I am finally free,” before redirecting her followers to her website, adding, “There will be many announcements in the weeks to come.”

She informed her followers that she will be returning to her YouTube channel “after a brief hiatus” in a different tweet that included a link.

Direct informants say it was all about what the Daily Wire executives perceived to be antisemitic remarks, and they fired her early this week.

Due to their divergent opinions on the Israel-Gaza conflict, Candace and colleague Daily Wire presenter Ben Shapiro have been embroiled in a highly publicised social media battle.

According to TMZ, the Daily Wire’s decision to fire Candace stemmed from her appearance on the “Fresh and Fit” podcast on March 8.

According to TMZ, Daily Wire executives had previous meetings with Candace to better understand her stance since they didn’t want to censor her — but they felt the podcast incident went too far.

Candace’s departure comes shortly after she addressed her fight with Ben on “The Breakfast Club” Thursday, stating that she is neither anti-Israel or anti-Semitic, but rather opposed to all types of genocide.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
