Celebrating Breakups: Bovi’s Unexpected Take

Bovi Ugboma, a well-known stand-up comedian from Nigeria, has disclosed that he rejoices whenever a divorce occurs.

Speaking on a recent episode of The Morayo Show, Bovi clarified that he believes that at least one of the partners was going through challenging times in the marriage, which is why he celebrates divorces.

He claims that at least one of the partners is relieved when such a marriage ends.

The comedian emphasized that divorce is preferable to unhealthy marriages.

“I celebrate when people get divorced because I feel it means one or both people were not breathing well in the marriage. I will not suffer anybody neither will I want anybody to suffer me,” he said.

Bovi added, “That is not to say my marriage has been easy for 17 years. It has not. I got married at 29. I have been providing for 17 years nonstop.”

This is simply Bovi’s personal perspective, and everyone is entitled to their own views on such matters. While his stance may differ from others, it’s important to respect his opinion and recognize that people have diverse feelings and experiences regarding divorce. Ultimately, understanding and tolerance are key to fostering a respectful conversation on this topic.
