A-list stars flocked to the 2023 Gotham Awards presentation, which took place on Monday, November 27, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
The Gotham award used to exclusively honour indie films, but they’ve since done away with the stipulation that any production must be produced for less than $35 million. Now, high-profile films like Barbie are among this year’s contenders.
Gender-specific acting categories were eliminated from the awards ceremony in favor of two categories with ten nominees each: Outstanding Lead Performance and Outstanding Supporting Performance.
