A pastor in the Eche Ezema community of Ibagwa Aka, the administrative center of Igbo Eze South Local Government Area in Enugu State, has been accused of murdering four siblings.
The victims, Kamsiyochukwu Ezema (7), Ezinne Ezema (6), Ujunwa Ezema (5), and Chinedu Ezema (2), were allegedly brutally killed with a pestle by a pastor from a sabbath church situated in the locality.
The suspect is presently detained at the Divisional Police Station in Ibagwa Aka.
A family source who verified the incident to The Sun revealed that the children were alone at home when the pastor allegedly climbed over the fence and committed the horrific act.
“The suspect used a pestle to k!ll them,” the source said.
The parents of the deceased, Chinonso Ezema and Loveth Ezema, who were reportedly absent during the tragic event, demanded justice.
“We want the police to thoroughly investigate this and ensure the culprit is brought to book,” the father said.
He mentioned that their compound shares a boundary fence with the church where the accused pastor is employed.
A police officer at the Ibagwa Aka Station, who confirmed the report but requested anonymity, stated that the case had been formally documented and that investigations were in progress.
“We urge the public to remain calm and allow a full investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding this tragedy,” the officer told the publication.
A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
