The couple’s decomposed bodies were discovered inside their home in Dehradun’s Clement Town police station neighborhood.

The bodies had reportedly been left neglected for almost three days.

The house’s back door was also secured from the inside, as well as the front door. The police are presumptively treating this case as a suicide case in such circumstances.

The bodies have been identified by the police as those of Kashif, 22, and his wife Anam, also 22, both from Saharanpur district, Uttar Pradesh. Kashif once operated a JCB device.

A year prior, he had wed Anam, his second wife. For four months, Kashif had been paying rent on the house’s upper floor.

Nusrat, Kashif’s first wife, had been contacting him for a few days before his phone went out on Monday. She then called her brother-in-law and Kashif’s boyfriend to let them know what had happened. They then drove the officers to the house after arriving at the police station.

When the cops arrived, the house’s inside was emitting a horrible scent. There was also the sound of a baby sobbing. The entrances at the front and back were shut. The bodies of Kashif and Anam were lying on the floor covered in blood as the cops broke through the door’s lattice to enter. On the ground was a newborn infant.

The infant was transferred right away to Doon Hospital. Both of them were bleeding from the nose, according to Shishupal Singh Rana, the station officer in Clement Town. There were no visible signs of harm when their bodies were examined. The room’s furnishings were kept just as they had been. It appears to be a suicide in this situation. There is a request for the forensic team. A postmortem has been requested for the bodies.

Anam delivered the child last Friday at a private hospital, according to the authorities. The couple barely interacted with anybody in their immediate vicinity. Nobody could know what occurred inside the house in such a scenario.

The first marriage of Kashif happened six years ago. He also has a son from this marriage who is five years old, but a year ago he fell in love with Anam, a person who lives in his home village. This was not approved by either party’s family. On this, a panchayat was also held numerous times. Finally, in front of both families, they were wed. Once Anam married, her family abandoned her.

After the couple passed away, Kashif’s relatives arrived at the scene, but Anam’s family was absent.

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
